Gergana Minkova
is an art historian in the field of modern and contemporary art. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Art History at the National Academy of Arts and later defended a Master's thesis on the influence of Black Lives on the art world. She is a graduate from the Master's programme "Digital Media and Video Games" at the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" with a thesis on simulation games. Since 2023 she is a PhD student at the National Academy of Arts. Her interests are in the field of contemporary art and gaming. Since 2021, she is part of Intercultura’s team researching the gaming industry in Bulgaria and its impact on the creative sector. Gergana has participated in conferences related to contemporary design, applied arts and gaming.
Gergana’s working languages are Bulgarian, English, and French.
