Generation – Female leaders in Culture

Generation – Female leaders in Culture

Generation – Female leaders in Culture

Co-organised by Intercultura Consult in Sofia, this pilot project brought together women from two generations and nine European countries, from Iceland to Turkey, representing different regions of Europe, to discuss “Generation” (2012).

The key topics discussed included the glass ceiling faced by women across generations, the need for greater support for women in passing knowledge from one generation to the next, and the importance of strengthening connections between women professionals across European regions.

To strengthen awareness of and engagement with European cultural policy, Intercultura Consult also participated in the structured dialogue between the European Commission and the cultural sector.

The importance of digitalisation was further recognised through the 2021–2022 Voices of Culture dialogue between the European Commission and the cultural sector, in which one of ICC’s partners actively participated.

Over the past decade, Intercultura Consult (ICC) has supported numerous international foundations, cultural and arts organisations, professional networks across Europe, associations, arts managers, cultural entrepreneurs, and global and interdisciplinary teams.
